About the shop:

I have always had a creative itch. I actually opened a small shop on etsy when I was 19 called"fiveandcodesigns" where I offered hand painted, hand lettered wood signs. I went on to get my degree and become a competitive/juco soccer coach and my small shop became a thing of the past.

Fast forward about 6 years and one pandemic later, and five & crew was born! I decided to rename my shop to reflect my new role and career: motherhood.

I went from always being on the go to becoming a stay at home mom during a pandemic. My desire was to be able to earn extra income while staying at home with my son and in turn, I was able to my creative wants and needs.

I launched my shop in July of 2020 and started attending in person events and pop ups in March of 2022.

How did the name come about, you ask? Well, the number five has a lot of sentimental meaning to me. The number "5" is because of a shared soccer jersey number between my brother and I. Growing up, it was always our goal to get our favorite jersey number. When we became adults, we actually both got our first tattoos together of, you guessed it, a five! If you ever see me in person at a pop-up, feel free to ask to see my five tattoo :)

The crew signifies my family, friends, and reps that make this dream of mine a reality; the reason that this small shop exists is because of friends like YOU!

Each piece from this shop is curated with lots of love. If an item is not made by my own hands, it is sourced from another small shop. So chances are, your purchase is supporting more than one small business!

All macrame products are handmade and all images are designed by me! My goal is to not only create special pieces for you and your family at an affordable price point, but to support those who make the world a better place.

That is why 10% of all five & crew profits will be donated to A21: an organization that fights to put an end human trafficking across the globe.
